Central Office for your Refilling Stations
Quitec enterprise has been producting the tankomats (outdoor payment terminals) for the unattended refilling station for ten years. The cashier system Centros for public refilling stations had been developed three years ago. The latest addition to the product portfolio of the controlling systems is the Central Office for the refilling station.
The operator will gain precise evidence and control over its refilling stations thanks to the Central Office made by Quitec. The Central Office ensures the monitoring and controlling of the turnover of goods, the amount of goods on stock, price altering, set up of the prices on agreement, invoicing and printing of the detailed evidence resulting from the fuelling sheets. This all can be managed from the comfort of your office.
The Central Office made by Quitec has been developed in cooperation with their actual operators and thereby it ensures the solution of their daily needs and requirements. The typical operator of new Central Office made by Quitec is the owner of several refilling stations or the operator of a smaller network of refilling stations.
One of the greatest advantage of the CentralOffice is the easy interconnection of several types of refilling stations with the cashier (site controlling) system and interoperability with other technologies within one single system.
The Central Office can operate public refilling stations equipped with the cashier system, public fully unattended refilling stations with tankomat accepting the credit cards payments as well as unattended on-site refilling stations with tankomat accepting local credit cards. Quitec has ensured the thorough integration and mutual communication of all the above mentioned systems. The operator thereby gets the advantage of the easy handling of the uniform central database containing contractual partners and customers, vehicle identification, local credit cards, goods and evidence of sales. There is no need for the manual data transfer while processing the data resulting from different types of refilling stations to provide the invoicing or printing the background documents (evidence sheets) for the accounting with customers.
Overview and Detail
The Central Office provides various views of the data resulting from the network of refilling stations. The quick overview is provided by the data sets sorted on the basis of the particular branches (stations) or contractual partners. It is possible to evaluate the whole range of turnovers (total, category of goods, particular item) at the first sight. At the same time it is possible to see the balance of the stock and reserves for both the whole network or each and every work station.
On the other hand, a detailed look is also provided - you can monitor each sold or purchased item at a particular workstation, each sale paid by the card of the contractual partner and each altering of the price of goods. This working method ensures successfull finding of any required entry by using a set of efficient filters. At the same time, both the cashier system (POS) Centros or the Central Office carefully file each user intervention into the system, any change in the records or cancellation of the sale. The owner of the network can thereby achieve a perfect survey and supervision on the working of the system as well as operation of its employees.

Perfect Aiming
The fundamental device of the Central Office is the operating element allowing the selection of a particular workstation or the whole network. This basic aiming then directs the data processing. The network mode is suitable for the creation of reviews, balance sheets, and for the central invoicing to the contractual partners and customers. The operator processes all available data from the whole network at the same time and he can also sort them or summarize them by applying a number of criteria. Whereas the workstation mode is used when the aiming at a particular station is required, i.e. altering the prices or stock balance in the case of the arrival of goods at this particular station. However, the user can alter the selection at any moment of the reviewing the data, i.e. select another refilling station, and this change will be immediately shown in the set of the displayed data.
Invoicing at Ease as Never Before
Invoicing your contractual partners and customers becomes a piece of cake while using the features of the Central Office. The issuing of several hundred of invoices, supplying them with the relevant appendices and balance sheets will only take a little moment. The operator will only need several mouse clicks and then wait much longer till the printing at the connected printer is terminated. If only someone could fold the invoices with annexes and sheets and insert them to the envelopes!
The Central Office also takes care of the exhausting routine work to prevent the human failure and therefore it offers the export of the issued invoices in to the accounting system of the company. Even the basic version already contains several types of the export; others can be consequetly added custom-made depending on the consumers requirements.
On-line or via E-mail
The data transfer between branches and the headquarters can be achieved by several means. One of the most suitable ones is to use the permanent connection through leased private data line or circuit or via public internet network. Both the line and the network provide the data transfer in the preset intervals automatically and the user does not have to take care of it. He can only monitor the status (functionality) of the system at his control panel and find out details about the latest transfers between each branch and the central office. Bilateral data transfer is also possible via e-mail or by using a portable medium; this can be useful if the permanent connection is temporarily unavailable.
Other connection possibilities are dial-up connection provided either by the analog telephone line or ISDN line or via GSM modem. This ensures that even the most distant branches that do not have the internet access can therefore be connected to the central office. The connection and the data transfer can be called by the central office or by any of the branches. The connection is usually started by the central office call at the preset time, however, it can be called anytime by the operator; especially if there is an urgent need to alter the prices or to block a particular fuelling credit card.
