Quitec enterprise had celebrated the 10th anniversary since its foundation in February 2005.
Despite the fact that Quitec enterprise had been established as one of the latest companies in the field, it has become renown and known as the supplier of the front-end modern technology for fuel refilling stations within this short time. 24 hours a Day Unattended
The first and to a certain extent the flahgship product of the Quitec enterprise were the unattended "tankomats" (unattended outdoor payment terminals) that have been installed to some 300 refilling stations nowadays. The high quality of the product is supported by the evidence, that the devices installed nearly 10 years ago are still in service and their operators are satisfied with them. In the course of the years the existing tankomats were gradually refined up to the perfection and they nowadays exist in a variety of types.
Quitec produces larger stand-alone tankomats suitable for the installation onto the safety zone between dispensers, other terminals are suitable for the placement onto the metallic structure of the station and last but not least terminals designed for the direct integration and inbuilding to the dispensers. The winner product has been the package composed of the terminal allowing unattended functioning and surface plastic tanks for the diesel for last two years. The terminal placed at the on-site refilling station will replace the attendant, ensures the precise evidence of all refilling and therefore allows the significant cost savings for the operator.
Card Payments Directly at the Dispenser
Finally, it is possible to execute the credit card payments directly at the dispenser, 24 hours a day, even at the fully unattended refilling station. Quitec enterprise has successfully accomplished the certification of its unattended tankomat accepting VISA and EurocCard/MasterCard credit cards payments. The connection to the authorization central office of the Česká spořitelna in the Czech Republic was approved ad the beginning of March 2005, the same should be available in Slovakia shortly. The new terminal can be fitted to existing refilling stations where it can fully substitute the night attendance. Moreover, this concepts offers a wide range of an attractive investment into the new generation of refilling stations - refilling stations without a kiosk and without attendance. In addition to that building such stations is much less expensive and it is assumed that they will soon fill up the remaining places in the dense network of fuelling stations.

The Cashier System Centros made by Quitec was designed in a way to fulfill the requirements of the small and medium operators of the refilling stations at the first place. Such operators have slightly different needs and Centros system is tailored especially for them. The Central Office of the Centros system was created in close cooperation with the customers, operators of the small networks of refilling stations, in the way that it is tailored to their needs.
